Has Your New Year’s Resolution Flat-lined?

“I enjoyed the coaching program “How to Master Your Life—One Step at a Time” with Coach Flo Anderson. The eight-week program helped me to create a structure to achieve some challenging personal goals.  The weekly coaching sessions helped me to work through barriers and face obstacles head on with practical solutions.  The program energized me!  It also released my creativity and gave me a broader perspective on planning; goal setting and intent. Thanks! Coach Flo!”

~Robyn O, PA, USA

This is the testimonial of one of my clients who recently completed my course. She had made New Year’s resolutions in the past which proved unsuccessful. She had personal and professional challenges which she needed to overcome but found herself in a state of overwhelm. Her words prove that she has already taken control of her life.

What about you?

First Quarter 2017 is history. Gone. Just like that! Did you blink? Can you believe it?! Wasn’t it only three months ago that you resolved that this year would be different; that the goals you had set you would finally attain? Were you successful? Good for you!

For those of you who may not have been as successful, studies have shown that when you try to change a behavior, if you do it too fast or too soon it results in relapse. Have you found that to be true of you?

Did you make a New Year’s Resolution back in January and now find that it’s not working for you, or that for some reason you have abandoned it?

For many people, resolutions of any kind result in stress, a lack of accomplishment, overwhelm, fatigue and even depression. Yet they do this year after year, hoping that this year will be better.

What about you? Has your resolution moved you in the direction you intended to go? Are you 25% on your way to your goals?

If not, instead of a Resolution, I would like to introduce you to the Solution.

Resolutions tend to force you to assume a behavior that is unfamiliar. This results in the absence of the normal “flow” that occurs when you take incremental steps to achieve a certain desired outcome.

The Resolution Solution shows you how to master your life one step at a time. It gives you a chance for a “do over”, and this time, you will do it right.

I will help you to plan your actions and channel the results of what you will learn beyond this quarter and the rest of the year so that you achieve the desired outcome.

Here are some of the benefits to you:

* Reduced stress due to better stress management
* Increased energy
* Improved sense of well-being
* Elimination of “overwhelm” by removing “overkill”

You will be introduced to a system that progressively replaces old (bad) habits with those that move you in the direction you want to go.

You will learn how to take incremental steps that will yield results in as little as 7 days.

Between May 1st and May 15th, I’m offering a FREE 30-minute consultation/Discovery session which will introduce you to the program: How to Master Your Life—One Step at a Time. You will then be able to determine if this program is right for you.

Are You Ready When You Show Up?

On the surface this seems like a very odd question. I can almost hear you saying “Of course! What do you mean? Where are you going with this?”

Calm down, please, let me explain.

Have you ever been to a scheduled meeting where there’s always that ONE person who is never prepared? In fact they don’t have a clue as to what the agenda is. Do you find that frustrating and a colossal waste of your time? Or how about the chronic late-comer who never has his/her figures ready on time so you can compile the monthly report? Was that person ready when they showed up for work?

While showing up may be a good thing, in itself it’s not enough. There is a difference between showing up at work and showing up for work. You can show up at work and don’t have a clue as to how the day will unfold. However, if you show up ready for work you know exactly what is going to happen and when. You know which tasks are your responsibility, which tasks are to be delegated and to whom. If there is a meeting or other event that day, you are prepared. At the end of the day, you have a sense of satisfaction and fulfillment.

Life follows the same pattern; yet very few are ready when they show up for life. When you awaken each morning, do you plan your day? Or do you just let the day happen? If you don’t follow your own plans, you will invariably be following someone else’s. When that happens you find yourself chasing one crisis after another, which oftentimes have nothing to do with you. At the end of the day you feel unfulfilled, frustrated and even angry.

If that has been happening to you it’s time to break the cycle. My latest course: “How to Master Your Life—One Step at a Time” is structured to provide you with a progressive blueprint to show you the relationship between your plans, your schedule and your goals, both long-, short-, and interim-term ones.

Most likely you are fed up with a chaotic existence. If that is so, I know how you feel. I once felt the same way. If managing your time and achieving your goals are challenging for you, I will show you how to overcome these challenges while allowing you more free time with your friends and family with the ultimate outcome of simplifying your life and feeling less stressed. I’ll also show you how you can provide the incentive of rewarding yourself along the way. We know that as instant gratification!
